Driving Psychological Safety at India's Leading Automobile Enterprise

Our client, one of India’s leading automobile enterprises, wanted to embed psychological safety as a core leadership capability across its ecosystem. While performance standards remained high, the organization identified behavioral and cultural barriers that limited open dialogue, trust, learning, and innovation. InspireOne partnered with the client to design and deliver a top-down transformation journey that helped leaders build emotionally intelligent, trust-based, and psychologically safe teams at scale.

Our Approach

Enterprise-wide diagnostic and framework design
We began with a deep diagnostic using the 5-Box Change Management Model to identify behavioral and systemic barriers. These insights were translated into a clear leadership framework (HEARTS), defining what psychological safety looks like in action across the organization.
Build leadership capability through immersive learning
Senior leaders underwent a focused capability-building journey anchored in emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Using the Personal EQ Meter and immersive workshops, leaders strengthened their ability to create trust, encourage open dialogue, and lead with accountability in high-performance environments.
Scale and sustain through internal ownership
A Train-the-Trainer model enabled internal champions to cascade the intervention across teams. Supported by peer reflection sessions, the program expanded to 850+ leaders, embedding psychological safety into everyday leadership conversations and practices.

Outcomes

1
Leaders demonstrated strong adoption of key behaviors, with an average score of 4.25/5, reflecting a meaningful shift in how leadership is practiced across the organization.
2
Teams reported increased confidence in speaking up, sharing ideas, and engaging in constructive dialogue, driving stronger collaboration and learning across business units.
3
What started as a leadership intervention evolved into an enterprise-wide movement, embedding psychological safety as a shared language and sustained capability across 850+ leaders.
